Schulich School of Business
Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) / International Bachelor of Business Administration (iBBA)
Schulich’s two undergraduate programs offer students a challenging and rewarding full-time course of study. Schulich students develop critical and analytical skills while establishing a solid foundation in business concepts. Admission to the BBA and iBBA programs requires both high academic achievement and demonstrated leadership in extra-curricular activities.
BBA: A Business Degree with the Option to Specialize
At Schulich, the four-year Honours BBA degree involves an essential base of management studies that encompass more than the traditional focus on commerce and economics. At Schulich, students study business from their first day, with first-year courses in business ethics, business analytics, marketing management, accounting, and economics. By carefully selecting management elective courses, you can specialize in one or more areas of business in years three and four.
iBBA: A Business Degree with a Regional Perspective
The Schulich iBBA allows you to immerse yourself in international business study while engaging in the study of a foreign language, regionally-focused studies, and an exchange term abroad. By carefully selecting management elective courses, you can specialize in one or more areas of business in years three and four.
The Learning Environment
Schulich’s programs are limited in size so that you will receive the attention necessary to realize your full potential. The average class size at Schulich is between 25 and 55 students. Schulich uses a variety of teaching methods, including case studies, small group discussions, and lectures.
In the BBA program you will have the option of studying on an international exchange for one semester during your third or fourth year. For iBBA students, an international exchange is a required part of the program. Exchange terms take place at one of our 61 partner institutions across 29 countries worldwide.
The Career Development Centre (CDC) will assist you with career management training. The Schulich CDC provides training for Schulich students to equip them with the appropriate tools to find part-time, summer or full-time employment opportunities. Internship fairs, career days, workshops, and company information sessions are just some of the services offered that specifically cater to Schulich students. Industry advisors also provide one-to-one advising, resume critiques, and mock interview sessions. Increase your self-awareness and professional development while building the necessary skills for a successful career.
As Canada’s Global Business School, Schulich has one of the strongest internal networks of any business school in the world.
